Petrov Hull

A young nobleman of the Honeysuckle family and an ambassador from Longsong Stronghold, first appearing as a representative of the stronghold's interests in its dealings with Border Town. He comes across as intelligent, observant, and far more inclined toward calculation than martial glory. Trade, profit, and practical benefit matter to him much more than aristocratic bravado, which makes him stand out among the local nobility for his more flexible and business-minded view of events. A representative of the old order who adapts to change faster than most. After realizing that the Church's stories about witches were false, Petrov comes to accept Roland's side and begins to work with the new way of life forming around him. Later, he keeps watch for witches in Longsong Stronghold so they can be brought under the protection of the Witch Union, moving ever farther away from the isolation and prejudice common among the nobility.
