Sanshirou Sugata

Sanshirou is a hot-blooded young man obsessed with the desire to be strong. He learns judo at Shogoro Yano's Seidokan and awakens to his true strength. He is a bit of a jerk, and often puts his mentor, Yano, on edge. His beloved cat is named Chombo.
