Shaodi is a underling of a Master of hardship, a Sorrow hardship, having been kicked out of heaven of accused of murdering his master. He was imprisoned on Earth to wait for his new master and aid him/her in winnning the Calamity of 8 Hardships. He is now imprisoned under Xiaojie with her Spirit Beast collar after being freed from his chains.
