Captain Howell

Captain Howell is an original character from the "Eat-Man" anime and appears in the 12th episode "Endless Tomorrows". Howell is the captain of the legendary airship "LAVION", which flies through the skies even after being destroyed. Somehow, Howell knows Bolt and even his origin, and was waiting for him to offer the mission of rebuilding the airship with his powers, taking Bolt to the room where the "Psycho-Crystal" is kept, a mysterious crystal that works as the heart of LAVION and that attacks intruders with strong electromagnetic waves. During the episode, it is implied that Howell died along with his entire crew in the incident that destroyed LAVION years ago, and that everyone who appears there before Bolt are ghosts, or images created by the power of the Psycho-Crystal. Before eating the Psycho-Crystal, Bolt materializes a gun fused with catalytic energy converter that he eat earlier and shoots it at Howell, which causes his presence to vanish shortly after he calls Bolt "the last Eat-Man".
