She played Samara Morgan the american counterpart of Sadaku in the American version on the Ring. Following her retirement from acting in 2016, Chase experienced several heavily publicized personal and legal difficulties, which coincided with a prolonged withdrawal from the public eye. Died from from septic shock and subsequent organ failure caused meningitis and several severe systemic blood infections after being admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on June 16, 2026.
